June 9, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

TMZ reported that boxer Ryan Garcia was arrested at a hotel in Beverly Hills as the hotel accused him of damaging the property in the amount of $15,000. Garcia was arrested on Saturday around 5:45pm after a driver who dropped him off at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills phone police.

According to Garcia’s attorney, the boxer may be charged with public intoxication in addition to the property damage. Garcia’s attorney also released a statement indicating that its been “an extraordinarily challenging time for Ryan, as he has been grappling with devastating news regarding his mother’s health.”

Garcia has been at the center of controversy since his erratic behavior during fight week leading up to his fight with Haney. Garcia missed weight, won the fight against Haney, but then tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine. He also was sued by Prime Hydrate, the company owned by Logan Paul, for making alleged defamatory statements against the company.
