April 14, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Max Holloway came away with the BMF title at UFC 300 and also earned $600,000 performance in his fight with Justin Gaethje.

Holloway dominated most of the 5 round fight with his boxing and won most exchanges. The 5th round culminated with Holloway, already destined to win the bout if he played it safe, pointed to the center of the Octagon and demanded to slug it out with Gaethje for the final 10 seconds. Holloway got the KO with 0:01 second left in the round.

Holloway earned a $300,000 Performance Bonus and another $300,000 for Fight of the Night with Gaethje.

The other Performance Bonuses went to Jiri Prochazka who earned a TKO victory over Aleksander Rakic in the second round. Prochazka returned to form after his KO loss to current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Dana White announced the hefty bonuses at the UFC pre-fight press conference on Thursday.
