UFC Fight Night 238 took place on Saturday afternoon at The Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The promotion gave out 4 bonuses to 3 fighters tonight as one fighter doubled up on bonuses.
A flying knee by Vinicius Oliveira stopped Bernardo Sopaj in the third round. Oliveira’s KO will be in the running for the KO of the year but received a game effort from Sopaj who took the fight on a week’s notice. Oliveira earned the $50K bonus and Sopaj earned $50K as one-half of Fight of the Night.
The other Performance Bonus went to Stephen Erceg who stopped Matt Schnell in his tracks with a punch in the second round.
