UFC Vegas 79 took place Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. It saw 4 fighters receiving $50K bonuses.
Charles Jourdain, Marina Rodriguez, Tim Means and Andre Filhao all received the extra cash.
Jourdain used a guillotine choke in the first round over Ricardo Ramos to earn his finish. Rodriguez used her Muay Thai knees to batter Michelle Waterson-Gomez and finally end her night in the second round. The Fight of the Night went to Means and Filhao with the Dirty Bird getting a stoppage.
