Top Rank Boxing averaged 544,000 viewers on ESPN Friday night for the telecast featuring Luis Albert Lopez and Joet Gonzalez in a matchup for Lopez’s IBF Featherweight world title.
Lopez defeated Gonzales in a competitive fight that went the way of the champion. Also on the televised portion of the card from Corpus Christi, Texas, Xander Zayas stopped Robert Valenzuela in the 5th round.
The telecast drew 0.13 in the 18-49 demo.
The telecast’s lead-in was Virginia-Maryland which drew 776,000 viewers which reflects a modest decline from the ACC Friday night football matchup.
