UFC on ESPN 49 averaged 995,000 viewers per Nielsen via SportsMediaWatch. The telecast drew a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 demo and was up from two weeks earlier.
The UFC Fight Night Prelims drew 745,000 viewers and a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demo.
The event took place in the evening with a 7pm PT start for the main card. The telecast featured Holly Holm against Mayra Bueno Silva in the main event. Bueno Silva earned the 2nd round submission over Holm.
While there were not many notable fighters on the card, there were still some good performances.
