June 6, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN 46 took place on Saturday on ESPN and drew 845,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast was second overall in cable next to the NHL Stanley Cup Finals on TNT.

The telecast started late on ESPN due to an overrun for softball but the 145 minutes on the network drew 0.28 in the 18-49 demo.  It shared the same 0.28 rating with Formula 1 on ESPN earlier that morning.  The NHL Stanley Cup Finals drew 0.58 in the 18-49 demo.

UFC on ESPN 45 drew 0.15 F18-49, 0.41 M18-49, 0.27 18-34, 0.11 F12-34, 0.35 M12-34, 0.31 25-54 and 0.35 in the over 50 category.

The telecast featured Kai Kara-France as he faced Amir Albazi in a battle of flyweight contenders.  It was Albazi that earned a split decision victory.  The co-main event saw Alex Caceres defeat Daniel Pineda in the Fight of the Night.
