Jake Paul-Nate Diaz set for Aug 5th

April 12, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

DAZN announced a boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz set for August 5th. The fight will take place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Paul and Diaz have traded barbs on social media and the two will get into the ring this August.

Paul’s last fight slowed down his hype-train momentum as he lost a decision to Tommy Fury this past February in Saudi Arabia.

Diaz fought out his last fight in the UFC this past fall and all signs pointed to boxing.

DAZN will be the PPV provider on its own digital platform.

Payout Perspective:

This fight needed to happen as Paul is a great matchup for Diaz. Moreover, the promotion for this fight alone will result in some memes, twitter spats, and likely thrown drinks. This fight goes into the category of sports entertainment but will be doing big business for DAZN.
