Top Rank Boxing scores 804K viewers

April 11, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Top Rank Boxing on ESPN Saturday night drew 804K viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily. The telecast was good enough for fourth overall in the cable rtings.

The telecast drew 0.22 (289,000 viewers) in the 18-49 demo, 0.13 F18-49, 0.31 M18-49, 0.17 18-34, 0.09 F12-34, 0.19 M12-34, 0.25 25-54 and 0.40 in the over 50 category.

The prelims for UFC 287 were the lead-in for Top Rank Boxing and it seemed to help. The telecast featured Shakur Stevenson as easily handled Shuichiro Yoshino with a TKO in round 6 of their 12 round bout.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings reflect the help that the UFC provides Top Rank even though the prelims were a free commercial for the ESPN PPV. For those wanting to stay and watch boxing, Stevenson is becoming a boxing to watch.
