The UFC announced on Saturday that the 2015 fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald will be introduced into the fight wing of the UFC Hall of Fame.
The fight, which took place at UFC 189, was the co-main event which featured Conor McGregor fighting Chad Mendes. It was a classic fight which saw the violence rise throughout it as Lawler’s lip was visibly split and MacDonald had a broken nose.
In the end, Lawler stopped MacDonald in the 5th round and Lawler retained his welterweight title.
