February 8, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Top Rank Boxing on ESPN drew 430,000 viewers on Friday night per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily. It ranked 12th overall in cable ratings for the night and drew 0.15 in 18-49 demo.

The main event featured a Fight of the Year candidate as Emmanuel Navarrette stopped a game Liam Wilson in the 9th round to win the vacant WBO junior lightweight title.

Top Rank Boxing drew 0.15 in the A18-49 demo, 0.08 F18-49, 0.23 M18-49, 0.14, A18-34, 0.03 F12-34, 0.17 M12-34, 0.15 A25-54 and 0.18 in the over 50 category.

Payout Perspective:

Decent ratings for a Friday night of boxing which was capped off by an excellent fight between Navarrette and Wilson. The NHL All Star Friday night served as a lead-in and was first overall in cable with 1.023M viewers. Obviously, the ratings tailed off once the 3 hour broadcast was over but boxing did receive some residual viewership.
