AEW Dynamite on TBS Wednesday night drew 911,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily. The telecast finished 3rd overall in the cable ratings for Wednesday.
AEW Dynamite went up against The World Series on Fox as well as the NBA on ESPN.
The telecast drew 0.29 in the A18-49 demo, 0.19 F18-49, 0.38 in M18-49, 0.21 M18-34, 0.11 F12-34, 0.22 M12-34, 0.37 A25-54 and 0.42 in over 50.
The telecast featured the surprise debut of former WWE/TNA star Jeff Jarrett. Also, Colt Cabana returned to face Chris Jericho. The telecast prepared for a lower than usual viewing audience due to the World Series as the show did not have MJF as part of the show.
