UFC 277 Prelims draw 906K on ABC, 456K on ESPN

August 2, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC 277 Prelims drew 906,000 viewers Saturday on ABC.  On ESPN, the prelims, which aired at the same time, drew another 456,000 viewers. It was the second time that the UFC aired the Prelims on both ABC and ESPN prior to a UFC PPV.

The Prelims on ESPN was 7th overall in cable and drew 0.13 in the A18-49 demo, 0.06 F18-49, 0.19 M18-49, 0.10 A1834, 0.06 F12-34, 0.11 M12-34, 0.15 A25-54 and 0.23 in over 50.

The Prelims on ABC drew 0.10 in A1834, 0.23 in A18-49, 0.31 in A25-54, 2.8 with women 18-49, 3.5 for men 18-49 and 1.5 for men over 50.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings are lower from earlier this month’s UFC 276 which drew 929K on ABC and 871K on ESPN.  But the dual airings on sister networks seems to be capturing a wider audience as combined it drew 1.3 million viewers and over 450,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.
