UFC 309 attendance, gate, and bonuses

November 17, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 309 took place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. The event was a sellout and the promotion doled out 5 $50K bonuses.

The bonuses went to Jon Jones, Ramiz Brahimaj, Oban Elliott, Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.

The headliner, Jones, used a body kick to stop Stipe Miocic in the main event of the evening. The Brooklyn-native Brahimaj stopped New Jersey’s Mickey Gall with a barrage of punches. Oban Elliott stopped Bassil Hafez in the third round with punches. The Fight of the Night went to Charles Oliviera and Michael Chandler.
