Triple H named Head of WWE creative

July 25, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The news of Vince McMahon’s retirement on Friday left some open questions for the company including who would take over as the head of the creative process for the company. The answer is Paul “Triple H” Levesque as he was introduced as the Head of WWE creative on Monday morning.

Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named as co-CEO’s for the time being but Levesque returned to work officially last week and was given his new title on Monday morning.

Levesque will be in charge of running creative on both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown. This would entail signing off on characters, storylines and everything else that McMahon was in charge of as the head of the creative process.

As the news disseminated to shareholders, WWE stock went up 7% to $71.07 as of 1:39pm EDT.

The news of the change likely put shareholders at ease with the concern of McMahon’s sordid past, much of which is still coming out as it relates to undisclosed payments he made to women for infidelity and misconduct.
