AEW Dynamite (07.20) draws 910,000 viewers, first again in cable

July 22, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Dynamite drew 910,000 viewers on TBS Wednesday night per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast was number 1 overall in cable for the fifth straight week.

Although the viewership was down from last week, it still was good enough to have the most viewership in the A18-49 demo with 0.32 viewers.  It also drew 0.23 in F18-49, 0.42 A18-49, 0.17 A18-34, 0.14 F12-34, 0.13 M12-34, 0.40 A25-54 and 0.37 in the over 50 category.

The event featured Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho in a barbed-wire match.

Payout Perspective:

A great summer for AEW as it’s a mainstay at the top of cable ratings on Wednesday night.  The telecast viewership beat out Tucker Carlson on Fox and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo.  While those two shows had more overall viewers, AEW had the most in the important A18-49 demo.
