UFC 276 Prelims and Early Prelims 1 and 3 in cable Saturday

July 6, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC 276 Prelims on ESPN drew 871,000 viewers and was good enough for 1st in cable on Saturday night. The Early Prelims on ESPN Saturday afternoon drew 497,000 viewers and 3rd overall in cable.

Notably, the Prelims also aired on ABC at the same time as that on ESPN and drew 929,000 viewers, 250,000 in the A18-49 demo and a HH rating of 0.54.

The Prelims on ESPN drew 438,000 in the A18-49 demo and a 0.41 HH rating. The early prelims drew 240,000 viewers and a 0.28 rating.

The Prelims on ESPN drew 0.34 A18-49, 0.20 F18-49, 0.47 M18-49, 0.29 A18-34, 0.16 F12-34, 0.31 M12-34, 0.37 A25-54, 0.32 in over 50. The Early Prelims on ESPN drew 0.18 in A18-49 demo, 0.11 in F18-49, 0.26 M18-49, 0.15 A18-34, 0.08 F12-34, 0.16 M12-34, 0.21 A25-54, 0.20 over 50.

The Prelims featured Jalin Turner as he submitted Brad Riddell as well as the final fight for Donald Cerrone as he was submitted by Jim Miller. The Early Prelims featured Andre Muniz as he defeated Uriah Hall.

Certainly the depth of the card helped with the viewership and with so many more recognized names on the prelims, it helped with the casual viewership.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
