Top Rank Boxing (03.26) draws 437,000 viewers

March 29, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Top Rank Boxing drew 437,000 viewers on Saturday night.  The telecast which aired after the UFC Columbus show placed 32nd in cable and a 0.12 household rating.

Top Rank drew 0.12 in the A18-49 demo, 0.09 in F18-49, 0.15 in M18-49, 0.09 in A18-34, 0.07 in F18-34, 0.08 in M12-34, 0.14 in A25-54 and 0.22 in over 50.

The event featured Miguel Berchelt as he faced Jeremiah Nakathila. It was the underdog, Nakathila that upset Berchelt by TKO in the sixth round in what is being touted as an upset of the year favorite.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings reflect a drop from the UFC main card event.  The event did not start until 10:06pm on the east coast which probably deterred some casual viewers to the event.  There was also a competing card on Showtime which likely drew some away.  Those that stuck around saw an upset of the year candidate.
