AEW Rampage draws 453K for NYE telecast

January 4, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Rampage on TNT drew 453,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast placed 21st overall in cable ratings for New Year’s Eve.

The ratings were the lowest for the Rampage series since its inception this past August.  The ratings drew a 0.19 in the A18-49 demo, 0.12 in F18-49, 0.26 in M18-49, 0.14 in A18-34, 0.09 in F12-34, 0.14 M1234, 0.23 in A25-54 and 0.16 in over 50.

The telecast included a women’s hardcore match in which two of the four wrestlers bled.

The ratings were low likely due to New Year’s Eve as many were preparing for the festivities.  One might expect ratings to increase next week.

Also of note, WWE Smackdown ran a “Best of 2021” episode on FS1 which drew 378,000 viewers.
