UFC secures Timex as sponsor

December 10, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC has announced a new global sponsorship/licensing deal with Timex per Sports Business Journal.  The watchmaker will make more than 60 UFC-logoed products next year including watches, wearables and clocks per Adam Stern of the SBJ.

The deal is for seven figures a year over four years.

Adding to its robust portfolio of sponsorships, the Timex partnership may be one of the bigger ones that the Endeavor-owned company has entered into.

The Timex clock began appearing on the UFC web site as of last week counting down the time to this Saturday’s PPV.

Payout Perspective:

This deal reflects the pull the company has at this point with its sponsorships.  Timex is a major brand and the UFC secured a 7-figure deal with it.  There are still several major sectors that the UFC does not have sponsors including automobile and insurance that it may score deals with that will make Endeavor shareholders happy.
