AEW’s Full Gear draws 145K PPV buys

November 18, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Wrestlenomics is reporting that AEW’s Full Gear PPV drew around 145,000 PPV buys.  The buy rate would make it the promotion’s second most successful show in its history to this September’s all out which generated 205,000 PPV buys.

According to Wrestlenomics, after splitting revenue with PPV carriers and adding in ticket and venue merchandise sales, AEW generated $7 million in revenue from the event.

The telecast was a resounding success for the company featuring “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega in the main event with Bryan Danielson and CM Punk in other featured matches in the PPV.  Only September’s PPV which featured the return of CM Punk.

The buy rate is promising for the company and continues the momentum for future quarterly PPVs.
