UFC Fight Night 197 took place Saturday afternoon at The Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event lived up to its buzz and was the Fight of the Night.
Max Holloway defeated Yair Rodriguez in the main event that earned a $50K bonus for each. Holloway earned the unanimous decision while Rodriguez earned the former champ’s respect.
Performances of the Night went to Andrea Lee who earned a TKO win over Cynthia Calvillo after Calvillo’s corner decided to call the fight in between the second and third round. Also receiving a bonus was Khaos Williams who earned a TKO win after a flurry of punches put down Miguel Baeza.
