UFC 266 attendance, gate and bonuses

September 26, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 266 took place on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.  The event was a sell-out for International Fight Week and the main event earned the Fight of the Night.

Alexander Volkanovski’s successful defense of his Featherweight title against Brian Ortega drew the $50K bonus for the Fight of the Night.  Vokanovski’s earned the decision victory over Ortega.  Bonuses also went to Merab Dvalisvili and Chris Daukaus for their stoppages in their bouts.

The event drew 19.029 for a revenue of $5,609,906 per the UFC post-event.

Payout Perspective:

Although International Fight Week was delayed this year, it still came through with some great performances at UFC 266.  While Nick Diaz’s return was anticlimactic, the two title fights showed the dominance of Valentina Shevchenko and Alexander Vokanovski as they successfully defended their crowns.
