Vice TV to air “MLW Fightland”

September 18, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Vice TV has signed a deal with Major League Wrestling for its first-ever professional wrestling event to be shown on Thursday, October 7th.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 2nd from the venue formerly known as The ECW Arena in Philadelphia.

The television broadcast will be shown in conjunction with Vice’s “Dark Side of the Ring” as a lead-in.

“MLW Fightland” promises to viewers “a transparent, unfiltered all access look into the smoke-filled arenas of wrestling.”  The main event will be Jacob Fatu, MLW’s World Champion, taking on Alexander Hammerstone, the promotional National Champion.

Vice TV has shown previous MLW events on Saturday mornings but this will be the first event featuring the current promotion.  This is big news for MLW which is looking for national exposure.
