Floyd Mayweather, Jr. filed a lawsuit against the company that is representing Logan Paul in his fight against the former boxing champion. The lawsuit claims that PAC Entertainment Worldwide, LLC defaulted on two agreements to Mayweather Promotions.
Mayweather is seeking damages of $122.6M for breaching two guarantees related to the fight between the YouTuber and Mayweather. The two are set to fight in an exhibition on June 6th in Miami. However, the original site for this event was to be in Dubai.
The lawsuit reveals that PAC was supposed to make an installment payment for $110 million to Mayweather per a schedule agreed to by the parties. But, that did not happen.
There was then another agreement on March 31st totaling $115 million but also PAC failed to pay.
Its interesting to note that the lawsuit does not necessarily mention how Paul and PAC Entertainment Worldwide, LLC are related although one might infer that Paul is represented by PAC. Yet, that is not expressly mentioned in the lawsuit.

Payout Perspective:
Usually when there is a lawsuit on a failure to pay, the event falls through. In this case, Mayweather-Paul is still scheduled for PPV in June. Yet, the lawsuit alleges it was Paul or his representatives that sought out Mayweather. It would seem that Mayweather dictated terms with a payment to him prior to execution of a deal. But it would appear that this fell through…twice. We have yet to hear from Paul or his representatives as to the reason for this lawsuit and/or if this is legal sparring on behalf of Mayweather.
