UFC 261 bonuses

April 25, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 261 took place on Saturday night from the VyStar arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Performances bonuses went to Kamaru Usman and Rose Namajunas while the Fight of the Night went to Jeffrey Molina and Qileng Aori.

Usman knocked out Jorge Masvidal in the second round of his welterweight title defense while Namajunas won the strawweight title with her headkick and follow-up on Zhang Weili.

The Fight of the Night occurred on the Early Prelims as Molina and Aori went toe-to-toe for 3 rounds with Molina pulling out the unanimous decision victory.

Payout Persepctive:

It was a fast-paced night of fights with exciting finishes and good back and forth action.  It also had the unfortunate leg injuries of Chris Weidman and Jimmy Crute.  The crowd back in the arena brought a level of energy to the festivities as well.
