Jake Paul made an appearance at UFC 261 on Saturday night. He stirred the pot with Daniel Cormier and talked about him during the post-fight press conference. Although he praised the YouTube star, he also said that his PPV numbers were inflated. Paul responded.

Paul claimed that the Triller PPV featuring himself and Ben Askren did 1.5 million PPV buys. Much of the combat sports world balked at those numbers stating that they were inflated. White stated that the numbers were not correct as well.
In a social media post which most of the world saw Sunday morning, Paul laid into White which included the revelation that he helped Askren get ready for his fight. He also indicated that the reason why so many MMA stars want to box is due to the big paydays, something few UFC fighters see.
He also pointed to the fact that Jon Jones is being passed over a title shot at Francis Ngannou because his asking price was $30 million. As a result, Derrick Lewis is set for the shot.
Payout Perspective:
While White should not pay attention to the taunting, its clear that he cannot let someone get the best of him in the public. Note, his rebuke of the Las Vegas Review Journal after they indicated the potential risks that fans may have with going to UFC 261 at the VyStar Arena. The ticket that fans received upon entering indicated that they may be exposed to COVID-19 and that they could not sue the UFC if they entered.,
