UFC Vegas 24 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. The main event between Robert Whittaker and Kevin Gastelum drew Fight of the Night honors.
Whittaker won the fight via unanimous decision scoring 50-45 on all three judges scorecards. In addition, Gerald Meerschaert scored a Performance Bonus with a submission over Bartosz Fabinski and Tony Gravely scored a second-round stoppage of Anthony Birchak.
Payout Perspective:
On a night that became overshadowed by the Triller Fight Club, the UFC event was lackluster as even the Fight of the Night wasn’t really an exciting fight to maintain your attention unless you are a Whittaker fan.
