UFC 260 bonuses

UFC 260 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas.  Francis Ngannou won the UFC Heavyweight champion and received a Performance Bonus on top of that.

Ngannou’s second round stoppage of Stipe Miocic earned him the title and a $50K bonus.  In addition, Sean O’Malley’s return from his first professional loss was a good one as he stopped Thomas Almeida in the third round. 

Fight of the Night went to Tyron Woodley and Vincent Luque after their wild one round bout.  Woodley started off quickly peppering Luque with shots but a counter jab stopped Woodley in his tracks causing his legs to go stiff.  It was a matter of time within the round that Luque took Woodley to the ground and submit him.

Payout Perspective:

It was a rather quick night of fights but this was due to a great deal of finishes.  Ngannou likely put on the best performance of the night as he became the third active UFC Champion from Africa.
