WWE Friday Night Smackdown draws 2.1M viewer average

February 6, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew 2.144 million viewers in the first hour and 2.108 million in the second hour per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The two-hour telecast on Fox drew a 0.6 share in the A18-49 demo and a 5 share in M18-49.

The ratings reflect another week of sliding ratings.

The first hour of Smackdown saw it go up against stiff competition with CBS’ MacGyver drawing over 5 million viewers and ABC’s Shark Tank garnering over 4 million.  CBS also posted another over 5 million viewer telecast in the second hour with Magnum P.I. while ABC had 20/20 do 3.9 million.

Payout Perspective:

We are seeing some declines in viewership over the past couple weeks which is not encouraging.  Yet, it is still doing steady over 2 million viewers and strong demos in the A18-49 and M18-49 demo.  Also of note is an increase in the A25-54 demo to a 0.8 rating over the course of the two-hour telecast.
