AEW 734K, NXT 720K

January 28, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW pulled off another victory in ratings against NXT on Wednesday night although the overall viewership gap narrowed.

AEW Dynamite on TNT drew 734,000 viewers while NXT on USA drew 720,000 viewers.

AEW was 6th overall in the ratings while NXT was 24th.

AEW drew 0.29 in the A18-49, 0.24 in A18-34, 0.34 in A25-54 and 0.27 in over 50.

NXT drew 0.21 in the A18-49, 0.11 in A18-34, 0.25 in A25-54 and 0.35 in over 50.

Last week the Presidential Inauguration took precedence over viewership as AEW drew 854,000 viewers but landed in 33rd position and a 0.36 household rating. It drew 0.36 in the A18-49 demo, 0.19 in the A18-34, 0.40 in the A25-54 and 0.28 in over 50.  NXT was 67th and drew 759,000 viewers.

Payout Perspective:

Interesting to note that AEW did better last week with its core demos than it did this week despite the fact this week it was 6th overall and was 33rd last week.  NXT fell off slightly this week but did not lose 120,000 viewers like AEW did this week.
