UFC on ESPN 18 draws 1.055M viewers

UFC on ESPN 18 scored over 1 million viewers Saturday night according to Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The event drew 1.055M viewers and finished 8th overall in cable ratings Saturday night.

UFC on ESPN 18 featured Anthony Smith and Devin Clark after the main event of Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes was cancelled due to a positive COVID-19 test by Blaydes. 

The event drew 0.47 in the M18-49 demo and 0.36 in the A18-49 demo.  This was good enough for 464,000 viewers overall in the A18-49 category.

Payout Perspective:

This was a surprisingly high number for the UFC considering the card was relatively lacking of known fighters for the casual UFC viewers. Also, the telecast had to be shuffled due to college football on the network. In addition, the card was overshadowed by the Tyson-Jones, Jr. PPV.
