UFC 255 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas with two title fights on the line. However, the Fight of the Night was the very first on the prelims.
Sasha Palatnikov and Louis Cosce had a back and forth slugfest in the first fight of the night. Palatnkiov stopped a tired Cosce in the third round. The two had one of the most action-packed first rounds this year. Each received a $50,000 bonus.
The Performances of the Night went to Antonina Shevchenko and Joaquin Buckley. Each drew $50,000 bonuses for their respective stoppages.
Buckley comes off his highlight Performance Bonus this past summer on Fight Island. Shevchenko saw her sister successfully defend her 125 pound title against Jennifer Maia.
