Top Rank Boxing draws 392,000 for Friday night fights

October 13, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Top Rank Boxing on ESPN Friday night drew 392,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research via ShowBuzz Daily.  The event drew 124,000 viewers in the A18-49 and a 0.28 overall share.

The event on Friday night featured Emanuel Navarrete as he faced Ruben Villa in a battle of featherweights.  Navarrete earned the decision as he gave Villa his first professional loss.

Payout Perspective:

Good ratings for a Top Rank televised event.  It was also very good since it was on a Friday night.  The telecast went up against the MLB Division Series of Yankees-Rays which drew 3.723M viewers on TBS.  But 392,000 fans for a Top Rank event is an accomplishment comparatively speaking.
