Bellator MMA 243 on the Paramount Network drew 403,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research via ShowBuzz Daily. The viewership is the best of 2020 on The Paramount Network.
Bellator MMA featured what most believe was the last appearance of Michael Chandler for the promotion as he went out on a high note as he knocked out Benson Henderson in the very first round. It was Chandler’s last fight under his Bellator contract. Speculation is abound as to where Chandler may take his career.
The event was the best showing on the network since it posted 697,000 viewers for Bellator 214 in January 2019.
Payout Perspective:
A good number for Bellator on Paramount which had hovered in the upper 200s-low 300s in viewership since it also aired on DAZN. No real explanation for the boost in viewership this past Friday night. However, it is a good sign that has seen its ratings sag on Paramount.
