Friday Night Smackdown this past week (on 6/5/2020) Fox dipped below 2 million viewers as it drew an average of 1.948M viewers in its two hours on the network. The telecast drew 656,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo and a 1.27 household rating.
WWE drew a 0.3 rating in the A18-34 demo. It also drew a 5 share in the M18-49 demo and a 2 share in the over 50 demo. The WWE bested the rest of the Network telecasts on Friday night in the A18-34 demo and was far and away the winner in the male 18-49 demo.
A woman’s tag team title change was the main event of the night as Sasha Banks and Bayley won the titles from Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss.
Payout Perspective:
The ratings were not good on Friday night despite the fact that it hit its key demos, especially in the M18-49 demo. Under 2 million viewers for SmackDown has to be a concern although you may argue that the key demos are still there for it.
