Ferguson, Gaethje, Cejudo top UFC 249 payouts

May 12, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

MMA Payout has obtained the payout sheet from the Florida Athletic Commission from UFC 249 held this past Saturday at the VyStar Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sam Alvey:  $65,000

Ryan Spann;  $50,000

Charles Rosa;  $24,000

Bryce Mitchell:  $54,000

Nicholas Price:  $57,000

Vincent Luque:  $180,000

Michelle Waterson:  $60,000

Carla Esparza:  $102,000

Fabricio Werdum:  $100,000

Aleksei Oleinik:  $160,000

Donald Cerrone:  $200,000

Anthony Pettis:  $310,000

Yorgan Decastro:  $12,000

Gregory Hardy:  $180,000

Calvin Kattar:  $116,100

Jeremy Stephens:  $46,900

Jairzinho Rozenstruik:  $80,000

Francis Ngannou:  $260,000

Dominick Cruz:  $300,000

Henry Cejudo:  $350,000

Justin Gaethje:  $350,000

Tony Ferguson:  $500,000

Payout Perspective:

First, the payout sheet does not include Jacare Souza or Uriah Hall who were supposed to fight but did not due to Souza’s positive COVID-19 test.  Also of note, that the sheet did not parse out show and win but one can assume for example that Anthony Pettis had $155,000 to show and another $155,000 for his win over Donald Cerrone.  Vincente Luque also made $180,000 ($90K/$90K). Also, Calvin Kattar received a percentage of Jeremy Stephens purse since Stephens missed weight.  Ferguson also received the champion purse of $500K no win bonus.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
