WrestleMania no longer taking place at Raymond James Stadium

March 17, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The WWE is following suit with the mandate of cancelling large-scale events and gatherings with the announcement that WrestleMania will no longer take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 5th.

WrestleMania will still go forward but will be aired at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Payout Perspective:

The cancellation is one of the last big events scheduled in the United States.  The travel ban issued to prevent the Coronavirus would have put a huge dent in the many people coming into the city from outside the country.  Regardless of why it is being put off, the revenue from the event is a major economic driver for the company each year and will hurt its finances this quarter.

This Anthony Smith situation is sad, its another cry for help of someone that's obviously suffering from something. No way you harm your wife and threaten to kill yourself just because.
