January 26, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC Fight Night Raleigh took place Saturday night on ESPN+.  The event drew 14,533 for a live gate of $1.3 million.

UFC on ESPN 24 took place at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The feature bout saw Curtis Blaydes continue forward in the heavyweight division with a TKO of Junior dos Santos.

The event bonuses went to Herbert Burns, Alex Perez, Brett Johns and Tony Gravely.  Burns and Perez drew Performance of the night honors for their respective stoppages in their bouts.  Johns and Gravely earned Fight of the Night Honors for their fight which Johns won via RNC in the third round.

The numbers were announced post-fight by the UFC.

Payout Perspective:

The Raleigh arena is home to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes as well as the home venue for NC State University.  The attendance is very good for the debut of the promotion in Raleigh.
