Bellator 238 disclosed pay: Budd tops roster with $350K

January 26, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reported the main event card payouts from Bellator 238.  Julia Budd received the highest payout on the roster with a disclosed $350,000.

According to multiple reports, Cris Cyborg will receive more than the reported $250,000 that the California State Athletic Commission has disclosed if she defeat’s Budd for the Featherweight title.

In addition, Darrion Caldwell is making $25,000 without a win bonus against Adam Borics.  The Hungarian is making $28,000 to show and $28,000 to win.

The following main card payouts are as follows:

Henry Corrales  $38,000/$38,000

Juan Archuleta  $50,000

Sergio Pettis $30,000/$30,000

Alfred Khashakyan  $10,000/$10,000

Payout Perspective:

The payouts do not include any other agreements the fighters might have with Bellator.  It also does not include sponsorship money they might receive.  With that in mind, it would seem that Caldwell is being underpaid as he is making less than Borics for this fight with no win bonus.  Pettis’ promotional debut has him at $30K/$30K which is a step back from the last disclosed payout he had with the UFC which was $46K at UFC 229.
