PBC on Fox draws 1.42M viewers for Charlo-Harrison

PBC on Fox drew 1.42 million viewers on Fox Saturday night according to Television By Numbers.  The event was highlighted by the main event of Jermell Charlo and Tony Harrison with Charlo scoring an 11th round TKO.

The event took place in Ontario, California and was a rematch of last year’s fight in Brooklyn which saw Harrison win the WBC light middleweight title.  On Saturday, Charlo won the title back.

Broken down per ShowBuzz Daily, the event drew 1.194M viewers in the first hour and 1.636 million in the second hour.  It drew 0.3 in the A18-49 demo from 8-9pm and 0.4 in the 9-10pm hour.  It drew a 2 and 3 share respectively for hours 1 and 2 for M18-49.

The telecast does not include the 30+ minute overrun into the 7pm PT hour.  PBC on Fox went up against The Las Vegas Bowl on ABC which drew 2.2M viewers for a game featuring Washington and Boise State.  Dateline on NBC won the 8pm hour on the network with 3.451M viewers and another 4.2M viewers in the 9pm hour.
