Usman, Covington and Aldo top list of salaries at UFC 245

December 13, 2019 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Nevada Athletic Commission has disclosed the salaries for the main card of UFC 245 Saturday night.  The headliners, Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will be making $500K each for the title fight.

Usman, the champion, will take home $500,000 (no win bonus), while Covington will take home the same amount.  Max Holloway will make $350,000 for his Featherweight title defense against Alexander Volkanovski.  The challenger will make $250,000.

Amanda Nunes will make $350,000 and another $150,000 if she wins.  Germain de Randamie will earn $100,000 as challenger.

Jose Aldo will make $400,000 with no bonus while Marlon Moraes will make $100,000 and another $100,000 if he wins.  Urijah Faber will make $250,000 while his opponent Petr Yan will make $66,000 and another $60,000 if he should win.

Payout Perspective:

Aldo’s $400,000 is an outlier among the payouts.  Also, Amanda and Max’s base seem low compared to the main eventers although this card is driven by the bitter rivalry.
