PBC on Fox drew less than a million viewers Saturday night per Television By Numbers. It’s the first time that the promotion on the network has drawn less than 1 million viewers.
The event drew 0.92 million viewers and a 0.2 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 1 share for its 8-10pm time slot. It was the lowest-rated telecast during it’s time slot and the least-watched overall show on network television Saturday night.
In comparison, February’s PBC on Fox 4 telecast drew 1.76 million viewers. July 2016’s PBC on Fox drew 1.45 million viewers. PBC on Fox 2 in April 2016 drew 1.51 million viewers. PBC on Fox 1 in January 2016 drew 2.24 million viewers.
Saturday’s event featured Omar Figueroa, Jr. has he stopped Robert Guerrero in the third round. Guerrero announced that Saturday’s event was he last as he announced his retirement via twitter.
Payout Perspective:
There was a lack of marketing promoting event as it seems like we are all focused on Mayweather-McGregor this past week. The event marks a new low for PBC on the networks as it could not muster 1 million viewers. I would think that the UFC will be able to draw more this Saturday for its network event on Fox.
