Glory Kickboxing draws 198K in ESPN2 debut

November 9, 2015 by Jason Cruz 1 Comment

Glory Kickboxing drew 198,000 viewers on ESPN2 per Sports TV Ratings.  It was the first time on the network since leaving Spike TV last month.

Glory announced the deal last week and aired Glory 25 Milan on the network on Friday night 10:30pm-12:30amPT.

Payout Perspective:

The Glory ratings on ESPN2 are still off from the 2015 Spike TV average of 313,000 viewers.  We shall see if ESPN programming allows it a chance at a decent time.  The obvious concerns over layoffs and subscribers presents the current climate at the network as uneasy.  We will see how this deal continues.

It was a crap time EST so I guess it’s an OK number. The fights were pretty good, barring the inane judging in the main event.
