MMA Payout has learned from a Nielsen source that Saturday night’s UFC 192 Prelims drew an average of 749,000 viewers with a peak of 883,000. It represents a 12% increase from UFC 191.
The feature of the prelims was Yair Rodriguez defeating Daniel Hooker. It also included several other entertaining fights including Sage Northcutt’s fight from UFC Fight Pass. The peak occurred in the 9:00-9:15pm ET quarter hour.
The prelims drew 424,000 viewers in the Adult 18-49 demo which reflects significant improvement (up 40 percent vs 536,000 viewers; and up 56 percent in Adult 18-49 demo vs. 272,000) from last October’s UFC 179 preliminary card.

Payout Perspective:
Good ratings considering that the prelims were up against College Football as well as a live show on the WWE Network. The average for the UFC Prelims for this year are at 962,000 viewers which is largely helped due the the strong beginning of the year.
