Updated UFC 2016 Schedule

On Wednesday night’s airing of UFC Tonight, the UFC officially confirmed their 2016 Q1 schedule.  Here is how 2016 is shaping up so far, which includes announced events up to the first half of 2016, accented by UFC 200 in July.

Payout Perspective:

It’s interesting to point out the meticulous scheduling for 2016, which is obviously focused around UFC’s mega UFC 200 event.  UFC 100 still holds UFC PPV record of 1.6M PPV buys, and after what Mayweather vs Pacquiao did this year, you can bet Zuffa has their sights set on a 2M plus PPV event.  The question whether this is possible now a days will continue to be asked up to the event, but you can guarantee the amount of marketing and promotion from the UFC will be plentiful.

From a quick analysis of what is already scheduled for 2016, it looks like it is lining up to be another big first half of the year for the UFC after a successful first half of 2015.  You can pretty much guarantee heavy Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor promotion leading up to the events, which has been the winning formula for the UFC this year.

When a fighter loses a fight they think they can win, they want a rematch ASAP. When they cannot win, they move on. When is Dana going to stop ducking Calgary and let us know he is moving? If UFC 195 is not in NY then …….
