Payout Perspective:
Despite a busy sports day on NBC as well as HBO Boxing Saturday night, FS1 did above average for its UFC live events. A part of this was aided by the start of the women’s World Cup as it preceded the fights on FS1. The ratings show a nice increase over the past several Fight Night events.

Cant even break a million anymore!
saldathief says
HBO boxing sat does 1.5 million out does UFC, wso and glory combined. Goes to show where the strength and money is.
joe says
This shows that who’s fighting matters a lot for ratings, I think.
The UFC and MMA in general should trim the cards down a bit and focus on their top talent and pay them like the prize fighters that they are
d says
This was a good rating for a weak headliner. Henderson was coming off of 2 ko losses and Boetsch is not even close to headlining material.
To the retard known as Sal, HBO had Miguel Cotto headlining, one of their biggest stars. This also probably beat the PBC show with Guerrero on NBC.
Goes to show how big of an idiot you are.
d says
Joe, I want to get this straight, you are saying the fighters from that card were underpaid?
Please explain how.
Do you have any idea about the cost of a show like this? How much the tv rights fees are? What the overhead is?
You are very misinformed.
saldathief says
More lame excuses bahahaha D is running out of time and excuses how pathetic
d says
Sal…..foaming at the mouth again.
saldathief says
Maybe the UFC can find another cash cow to support the sport because the fans sure aren’t bahahah
d says
Well, we know Haymon won’t find another cash cow like Mayweather to keep the sport afloat! HAHAHAHAHA!!
Pink Pig says
So BOTH the Guerrero and Cotto fights broke 1.5 million viewers?
WOW.
Poor UFC LOLz
Chris says
Excellent number for this card.
Shame about PBC though, going down the shitter.
Khan cant even do a mill average, doing Bellator numbers.
last two NBC shows doing 1.5 mill, UFC on Fox has never done under 2.5 mill.
Ouch. Wait thats fair game to compare them right? Cause Sal compares NBC in primetime to FS1 UFC cards in morning.
So you can compare afternoon NBC cards to Primetime Fox cards then. PBC flopping. They arent gonna be around long with their huge purses and shit ratings.
HBO boxing is where its at.
Chris says
For 5th time UFC FN 59 was on FS1 not Fox and did 2.7 million viewers not 1.7 million.
WOuld be nice if you posted accurate information.
d says
Sampson, 1.5m on NBC is so shameful and embarrassing. Anyone defending that number has no clue. PBC…..going down in flames!
FightBusiness says
pink ping- i’m trying to find the guerrero nbc viwership numbers on nbc. you said 1.5 million can you link the article so i can see it?. thanks
d says
Haha. Fagbusiness finally realizing the numbers were shit.
saldathief says
Lets compare, Cotto on HBO, that’s a paid network ,it out did UFC, wso and glory combined ! wow what a night of boxing, and well lets just say mma has had better years, days, months. Maybe we can compare ppv again at the end of 2015? maybe Rousey will do another big fight bahahahahahahahah As I remember boxing doubled the ufc in 2014 a long way away from 2012. You guys can try to bullshit yourselves all you want. We are watching the UFC go down the toilet. And all you fuck tards have is to poo poo pbc, how pathetic.
d says
Sal is insane and continues to rant incoherently like the mental patient he is.
Combo says
Decent ratings for an OK card… And during airtime UFC doesn’t have to pay for.
Combo says
Nice steady increase over the past few events, also.
