The bonuses for UFC Fight Night 58 included Lyoto Machida, Renan Barao, Vitor Miranda and Erick Silva. There were no Fight of the Night bonuses given.
The bonuses were announced post-event. Each received the standard $50,000. Machida earned his bonus with his main event win over C.B. Dolloway. Machida stopped Dolloway with a liver kick that doubled him over and then Machida finished him off.
Payout Perspective:
The 4 Performance of the Night bonuses meant that there was not a Fight of the Night on the card. It could be that there was no particular fight worthy on the card or the UFC decided to award four fighters in four different fights for their performances on Saturday night’s card. The 4 POTN bonuses seemed appropriate since there were several individual performances that stood out but not one fight that you might consider the best for the night.

Wow. Miranda makes 66k on the prelims. Boxers on Mayweather’s prelims pay to fight, that would be like winning the lottery to them. HAHAHAHA!!

hahaha they sold 5,000 tickets in a barn. The UFC can sell out a barn in Brazil what an expansion. Even at $100 us per ticket which is fucking impossible in Brazil, more like $20 us a ticket they lost money on the gate. 60 k for a fighter is good money but lets be real thats the most or close to the most he will ever make. At least a boxer can dream about making a real pay day and being the most payed athlete on the planet, What can an MMA fighter dream about?? Not much in comparison. Maybe they can be on a wheaties box and Dana can keep all the money bahahahaha.

Boxing couldn’t sell a barn with low level headliners. Go check out what the gates are like for a comparable boxing match. They are atrocious.
60k for a prelimer in boxing would be like hitting the lottery in boxing. Many main card boxers don’t make that on big ppvs. Those boxers can’t dream about anything other than if they may one day be able to afford rent.

Oh ok Machida is a low level headliner?? Really D ? 40% down bitch bahahahahahah
Therapist time for D to deal with his molestation issues. The birth place of MMA and they sell out a barn haha Big expansion!!! half a billion for 5000 seats and free ppv in brazil bahahahha oh wait stop the train a fighter supposedly got paid 60k, hmmm, in brazil with no way to verify. Even fighters have said they get no where what is posted, Dum ass

Machida is a highly ranked fighter, but his opponent had no business fighting him and it was a joke to even have that fight as a headliner.
Sal, you don’t need a therapist, you need to fly out to Vienna to be analyzed. Your mental illness would probably be located somewhere on the DSMV.
I know you are retarded and everything, but those bonuses are disclosed after every show. Are you now claiming the fights abroad they lie about their bonus pay? The bonuses in the US are subject to disclosure to the athletic commissions, so we know you are completely full of shit if you are claiming that.
You can’t spell, and it is amusing when you call someone a dumb ass and spell it incorrectly, thus proving who the stupid, dumb ass really is.

D has no idea that boxers on major cards are already signed to huge management and promotion deals, making large salaries to fight in a stable. Its called fighter development.D= No Clue!! The hope is to one day making a large pay day. Management pays all expanses for training, housing, cars, sanctioning fees the list goes on. The UFC makes their fighters pay for their own travel and hotels look it up nim rod haha
d says
Sal, is delusional about what boxers or mma fighters make. Those boxers on Mayweather’s prelims don’t have huge management and promotion deals at all. They fight for free. Anyone who follows the business is aware of this. The promotions also do not insure the fighters like the ufc does.
UFC fighters are insured outside of the octagon, they do not pay for their own travel at all, only a moron would say something like that who was clueless. They pay for their travel, lodging and for one cornerman. Everyone who follows the sport is aware of this.
Idiot.
