Bellator 114 DVR +3: 800K, peak over 1 million

MMA Payout has learned via Nielsen sources that the DVR +3 numbers for Friday’s Bellator MMA Live drew 800,000 viewers.  Its peak was once again over 1 million viewers

The peak occurred during the main event of Shlemenko/Ward.  It was exactly at 10:58 p.m. when the telecast hit 1,030,000 average viewers.

Bellator MMA – 110 880,000, overnight; 1.1M Peak, DV$ +3 – 1M, Peak – 1.1M
Bellator MMA – 111 653,000, overnight; 964,000 Peak; DVR +3 – 718,000, Peak 964,000
Bellator MMA – 112 699,000, overnight; 1.037 Peak; DVR +3 – 748,000, Peak – 1.22M
Bellator MMA – 113 507,000, overnight; 871,000 Peak; DVR +3 – 567,000, Peak 970,000
Bellator MMA – 114 711,000, overnight; 882,000 Peak; DVR+3 – 800,000, Peak 1.03M

Bellator 114

Payout Perspective:

The numbers are consistent which is positive.  Its average (including DVR+3) is now at 766,600.  What is impressive is that its peak viewership continues to hover around 1 million viewers.  The peak time usually occurs during the main event which shows that people are tuning in for the main event.  So, the question for Bellator is how it can have its audience tune in to the rest of the card.
