Viral video shows GSP not impressed with your performance

September 15, 2010 by Jason Cruz 2 Comments

Georges St. Pierre stars in a short viral video (via MMA Mania) that is making its round through the blogs.

The release of the video comes a day before the season premiere of The Ultimate Fighter on Wednesday. The video shows the lighter side of GSP and readies the viewer for what we may expect from GSP during the show: deadpan humor.

In the viral video, GSP makes fun of his attempt at trash talk when he confronted Matt Hughes at UFC 63.  Coincidentally, Matt Hughes opponent was BJ Penn, who he now faces for a third time in November.

This viral video is another form of PR the UFC is using to promote The Ultimate Fighter’s return to Spike TV. It is innovative and refreshingly creative.  Usually, the hype consists of the usual commercials which show the two coaches punching doors or needing to be pulled apart before coming to blows.  It will be interesting to see the personalities of Koscheck and GSP come out as they coach a new batch of aspiring UFC stars.

This was… dumb. GSP just doesn’t have the personality to make things like this funny. Would’ve been a lot funnier if it had been Koscheck saying it with a French-Canadian accent.

I thought it was funny. probably could have ended funnier but still it was great to see humor in mma instead of just the constant banter, trash talk and tough man persona we are used to.

You can write to a judge about someone committing perjury? I didn’t know you could do that. Would’ve been good to know.

My wife says the same to me every day 😜

Here we go, Judd Burstein accuses Floyd #Mayweather of perjury. The CSI Entertainment-Mayweather lawsuit going to heat up. Any thought the parties were going to work together amicably was barking up the wrong tree. #boxing #SportsLaw
